He has extensive training and experience including performing with Brazilian popular music legends Timbalada and Carlinhos Brown. He is adored and revered by his hundreds of local and international students who rave about his skill, sense of humor, and comfort with all skill levels. But it is his throbbing creativity in the dance studio that sets him apart from the masses. Itamar has a uncanny sensitivity to mood and vibe, and his brilliant, responsive rhythms in the sweaty interplay between dancer and drummer are unlike any other.
